My name is Priscilla Ballsun. I am licensed, as a clinical social worker in Washington, DC & MD. My education and work experience is eclectic. I started out as a teacher in California, moved to special education and worked with children and parents in a residential setting. I then moved to New York City and attended New York University for a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I specialized in working with people who had multiple sclerosis. I became increasingly interested in psychiatry specifically the relationship between the body and the mind. I then went on to get my masters degree in social work and completed my training at a psychoanalytic institute. I moved to the Baltimore/ DC area. Since then I have worked for several large group practices in the Baltimore /DC area. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, marital / partner issues and work-place issues.
I worked at Georgetown University Hospital for eight years. On October 25, 2005, I opened my own Practice on MacAthur Blvd.
